Ahhaa.co, a New York-based firm, with core members Ashwin Srisailam, based in India, and Diane Bacchus-Quddus based in New York; Edorble, based in Santa Barbara, the US, with core member Gabe Baker; and Moscow-based OctoProctor, with core members Artem Kozin and Adeniyi Adebayo.

These companies will be a part of an intensive training program designed for edu-tech start-ups and will gain access to co-working space, product lifecycle management support, organisation development inputs, investor relations and global scale-up opportunities, among others.

The Indian edu-tech market is expected to reach up to $70 billion by 2020, from the current $20 billion. Rishi Kapal, CEO, EDUGILD said in a statement, that after the completion of the first batch, "where a few of them received funding from external sources as well as generating inbound interest", EDUGILD is eager to create an enhanced ecosystem that will further help and build a stronger base for the second batch.

With the platform of EDUGILD, Ahhaa.com is set to collaborate with Instafeez, an edu-tech start-up from the first batch, to add value to each other. The partnership will ensure that the people-to-people virtual-reality learning platform Ahhaa.com facilitates all transactions through Instafeez, a payment gateway company.
